di bahagian technical support de 2 bahagian..tu pun sebab aku baru tau..heheh..satu IT satu lagi telekomunikasi..so pak mat nie bahagian IT..jadi dia sorang je yg handle bahagian IT..de sorang ni..dia project manager..dia de cakap ngan aku..kalo aku da abih leh try apply kat company tu..kiranya aku terus ke bawah IT....sebab aku de lagi sthn untuk abihkan course aku nie..aku cakap ngan dia ok la..nanti kalo da abih aku try apply kat situ..da rezeki tetiba datang bergolek..alhamdullilah..

sepatut nya khamis aku follow pak mat..tapi tetiba aku follow dia ari rabu..ok la..sebab dia kata nak ajar aku cam ne site survey..g nya g..rupanya kat area kl..area maju junction lak tu..heehe..mmg dekat la ngan campus aku..hehehe..tak de lak masa nak singgah kat campus..ngah ari da aku balik..kat situ aku blajar cam ne nak site survey melalui pelan yg di beri..pastu cam ne diorg tengok beberapa point atau hardware seperti wireless or router untuk di letakkan di dlam sebuah pejabat yg kosong..time tu de partner lain dari company lain yg join ngan pak mat nie..kat situ la aku baru tau cam ne site survey..sebab aku just tengok diorg semo tu g setiap bahagian..setiap pelusuk bilik nak tengok point pointer tersebut..dari situ leh tau costing dia, nak korek lubang untuk tarik kabel, piping network, piping kabel telefon dan sebagainya..tapi yg paling best..aku de tanya pak mat..

aku: bang...projek ni sape punya??..(cam ne aku leh terfikir nak tanya soalan camtu..pelik lak..heh)

pak mat: sebenarnya ni projek aku sendiri..bos mmg tak tau pun..

pastu keesokkan ari, ari khamis...baru la g ke kota kemuning..cam biasa la pelbagai tool di sediakan untuk kegunaan di site tersebut...site tersebut merupakan sebuah pejabat..pejabat ni dalam satu bangunan yg mempunyai 3 level..setiap level satu company..so de 3 company dlm satu bangunan yg sama..jadi projek nya mengemaskini kabel networking..kena tuko connector rj-45 yg baru...router dia diorg guna hp pro-curve networking...ok la kot berbandingan router cisco..kalo ikut pelan network dlm bangunan tersebut, grand total user point network lebih kurang 42 user..ok la tu tak la banyak tapi memakan ari sampai ari jumaat...

ari jumaat lak dapat gak setelkan projek ni sblm jumaaat..ok la..pastu cari port nak makan kat ne..skali member member myvian call pakmat..ajak g makan kat seksyen 25...kalo tak silap aku kat area masjid proton...ok la...aku pun follow...ne tak follow dia..da aku pun tumpang skali ngan dia..jadi follow je la ke ne pun..heheh..so yg datang makan kat kedai kat area situ dlm de la 6 org termasuk aku..sorang pompuan..mmg lawa gak la..pipi tembam tapi sebaik kurus..heheh..pastu setiap sorang akan dapat pelekat MYVIANS.COM..yg aku perasan kat blakang keta diorg lak..siap de nama masing masing kat logo tersebut..logo still sama cuma de tambahan letak nama masing masing..semo keta diorg berwarna putih..kalo tak silap aku diorg citer 10 keta myvi berwarna putih..diorg tak jangka jumpa gitu je tetiba masing masing bawa keta semo warna putih..jadi cam satu kebetulan la..mmg seronok dengar diorg citer..citer pasal keta..beli audio la..beli rim keta la..seronok tul tengok diorg berborak..mlm ni rasanya diorg g karaokae kat ktv klang..hehehe

BAU - Manifesto

Didepan kita ada jalan
Jalan ke laluan kecemasan
Tapi mengapa masih ada
Orang celik macam orang gila

Kecewa diri sendiri kering gusi
Tahu malu masih berdiamkan gigi

Manifesto..(2x)
Manifestokan diri
Manifesto..(2x)
Manifestokan diri

Banyak sudah bangsa mengata
Sehingga ke perhimpunan agung kita
Atas dasar apa kita percaya
Tak akan melayu hilang didunia?

Mahu tolong orang serik dah menolong
Tapi sendiri hanya tahu melolong

Repeat chorus

Mentera muzikalnya
Anggap aku ingin tolong bangsa
Jika terasa pedas ampunkanlah dosa

Jatuh bangun kita ditentunya
Jatuh bangun kita yang merasa
Jatuh bangun kita ditentunya
Jatuh bangun kita yang merasa

Citer Bantuan Ali Cafe..

aku nak start cam ne ye??..da masuk minggu ke 3 lak..leh lupa skit skit lak..hehehe..tapi cam biasa la..stakat ari isnin minggu pas (12 jan 2009) takde la sangat banyak keje..time tu dak praktikal yg lain de la..tu pun minggu terakhir diorg praktikal n minggu kedua wat aku praktikal :)..tapi sampai la ari rabu tetiba pejabat menjadi semakin rancak...pergerakkan dari tingkat bawah ke tingkat atas..tingkat atas ke tingkat bawah..pergerakkan manusia yg terlalu cepat...sampai cam jam bergerak ngan cepat..padahal jam jalan cam biasa je..jarum jam ngan relax bergerak ngan longlai..heheh..bukan pe..pergerakkan org org di pejabat sebab de dapat tender baru..tender tu adalah untuk wat satu projek dari DCA atau pun Department of Civil Aviation..projek tu untuk wat satu simulator aviation di Malaysia Aviation di sepang...so mmg kelam kabut la..print tender la..print cam cam dokument yg berkaitan..pastu khamis lak tu datang la org canada untuk bincangkan pasal projek aviation tu..sebab dia yg handle atau presentative benda tu..da bincang punya bincang ok...da setel..tu baru bab bincang...

sampai buku log pun da masuk minggu ketiga tak tertulis..hehhehe..tapi sebaik aku tulis dlm kertas lain...tulis dlm BM..tapi kena convert ke BI dulu baru leh tulis balik dlm buku log.. :)

ni pun time kepenatan tak ilang..aku cuba taip gak la...da bape ari tak update blog.. :)..

LG's New NAS Device Has Built-In Blu-ray Burner

Blu-ray might not be supplanting DVD as the preeminent optical storage medium for data and media anytime soon, but it is at least slowly seeing growing market share. Korean-based manufacturer, LG, for one, believes in the future of Blu-ray as it recently unveiled a couple of new Blu-ray-based products, including what LG claims is "the world's first Network Attached Storage device with a built-in Blu-ray drive."

The LG model N4B1 is a four-drive-bay Network Attached Storage (NAS) device that supports up to a total of 4TB of storage. When used with at least three disks, the N4B1 supports RAID 5 and hot-swappable drives. The N4B1 includes a Gigabit Ethernet connection, three USB 2.0 ports, and a memory-card-reader. But what separates the N4B1 from all other current NAS devices is the inclusion of a Blu-ray burner. LG states that the N4B1 is compatible "with all current types of CD, DVD and BD media up to 50GB." LG didn't provide information on read or write speeds; nor did it provide more detail on the specific formats the N4B1 can write to (for instance, we don't know if the N4B1 can write both DVD+RW and DVD-RW).

The N4B1 includes a "management system" that generates a "content catalog" of whatever data is burned to a Blu-ray disc, and it also keeps track of the filenames of files downloaded and saved to the NAS device. LG promotes this feature as a means for "saving business owners and consumers' time and space by not duplicating files." The N4B1 can be setup to automatically to backup pre-selected folders and files to an optical disk using the N4B1's "Auto Sync" feature. Also, using the N4B1's "Virtual Disc Library," the N4B1 permits a mounted optical disc to be accessible to multiple, simultaneous users. The N4B1 is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. For those looking to the N4B1 as a possible media server, the device can stream content to networked Blu-ray players.

The other Blu-ray device LC announced was the "compact" LG BE08. LG states that the BE08 supports both USB and SATA, which leads us to believe that it will be available in both internal and external form factors. The BE08 has an 8x BD write speed (LG claims that the BE08 can burn 25GB of data onto a single-layer Blu-ray disc in 13 minutes). The drive can also write and read DVD+/-RW (16x) and CD-R (40x) discs. During playback, The BE08 can up-convert DVD content to "near-HD levels;" and it even ships with software that permits the recording of HD content on to Blu-ray discs.

LG also announced the LG GP08 "Slim Line" portable DVD burner with LightScribe support. The GP08 is USB-powered and can burn DVDs at 20x. LG did not release information on the specific formats that the drive can write and read. As a matter of fact, LG also neglected to mention when any of these three new products will be available or how much they will cost. We have a query into LG, and will update this post once we hear back from LG. One of the bits of info we are looking for is what will be the available storage capacities option for N4B1 NAS device when it comes available in the retail channel.

UPDATE: We heard back from LG, but there isn't that much more to add that we haven't already reported. Pricing for the N4B1 and BE08 have not be set yet, and both products will be available sometime in the "first quarter 2009." The N4B1 will be available in a 4TB "commercial" version and a 2TB "consumer" version. The BE08 will only be available as an external drive. The GP08 is currently available and sells for $109.95.

Iomega Announces the Home Media Network HDD

New Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive Brings Cost-effective Storage, File Sharing and Media Streaming to Your Home

For a Small Cost Above an External Hard Drive and in Under Five Minutes, You are Streaming Digital Files Throughout Your Home.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Jan 5, 2008 -- Iomega, an EMC company (NYSE: EMC) and a global leader in data protection, today announced the debut of the Iomega® Home Media Network Hard Drive, a new standard in easy-to-use network storage for the digital home. With EMC’s acclaimed LifeLine™ software, in three simple steps users can configure up to one terabyte* of network storage for backing up all of their files as well as streaming music, photos, video and other multimedia files between computers, networked televisions, popular game consoles and other under-utilized digital home entertainment devices.

Iomega will be showing the new Home Media Network Hard Drive at the MacWorld tradeshow in San Francisco, January 6-9, 2009, and at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2009.

Starting at just $159.99, the Home Media Network Hard Drive is available as a 500GB or a 1TB single-drive device. Consumers with multiple computers can use the Home Media Network Hard Drive to centralize their computer storage as well as access files on everything from a laptop to a big screen TV to a Microsoft Xbox 360 or a Sony PlayStation 3. Sharing and streaming multimedia files to a home entertainment system creates lots of enjoyment for the whole family, and the 1TB Home Media Network Hard Drive can store plenty of entertainment – more than 4 million photos, 18,500 hours of music, or 1500 hours of video.**

“Iomega’s new Home Media Network Hard Drive is a powerful network storage device that’s so straightforward that even a novice can be backing up multiple computers and streaming media around their home in less than five minutes,” said Jonathan Huberman, president of Iomega and the Consumer and Small Business Products Division of EMC. “The Home Media Network Drive does the serious work of backing up and protecting digital files, but it also does the fun things like streaming photos and videos to game consoles, digital picture frames and networked TVs, as well as automatically feeding music into iTunes® for easy playback – all for little more than the cost of a USB direct-attached desktop hard drive with comparable storage capacity.”

Key Features of the Home Media Network Hard Drive
The new Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive operates EMC’s LifeLine™ Home software, a custom Linux operating system and application suite that can be set up in three easy steps: simply plug the Home Network Hard Drive into a router, power on, and install the software CD. A friendly user interface screen makes it easy to access files on all networked computers, as well as control which family members have access to certain folders.

The Home Media Network Hard Drive supports iTunes™ and Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and Digital Living Network Alliance™ (DLNA) certified devices, which makes the Home Media Network Drive a robust media server that can save, store and stream digital content not only to laptops and desktop computers but popular game consoles like the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, as well as digital picture frames, networked TVs and any other compatible device on a home network.

Fast network performance is achieved through a Gigabit Ethernet connection that plugs directly into a router. The Home Media Network Hard Drive also boasts a fast processor so users can save and access large media files quickly, as well as a USB port to add a shared network printer for multiple computers, or an external USB drive for incremental storage capacity.

The Home Media Network Hard Drive is specifically designed to operate cool, thanks to an efficient fan that also adjusts its rotational speed automatically for quiet operation. The drive has a burnished gun metal exterior and a small footprint, making it aesthetically pleasing out in the open, yet small enough to be easily stowed away. Because the Home Media Network Drive is always turned on to serve up content, the product’s power supply is Energy Star® compliant for power conservation and a better environment.

Backup Software and Online Storage, Too
The Home Media Network Hard Drive is a total network storage solution that provides data backup and protection with integrated award-winning EMC Retrospect® Express backup software. During the set-up process, users choose files and folders for scheduled automatic backups from all the PCs and Macs on the network. After that, any changes or additions are updated and saved automatically.

For added protection, home networks utilizing the Home Media Network Hard Drive also get the benefits of online backup with EMC’s MozyHome™ online backup service, a secure way to store, protect and access important files. MozyHome online backup service provides 2GB of free online storage for backing up selected folders to world-class EMC data centers. Users can also upgrade to unlimited online storage for just $4.95 per month.

    Compatibility
The Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive is compatible with Windows®, Mac OS®, and Linux® PCs. The user-friendly interface is localized in 11 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Traditional and Simple Chinese, German, and Russian). Other supported devices include uPnP AV devices, digital media adapters, iTunes™, and digital picture frames.

    Price and Availability
The Iomega® Home Media Network Hard Drive 500GB will be available worldwide in early January for $159.99; the Iomega® Home Media Network Hard Drive 1TB will also be available in early January for $229.99. (All prices are U.S. suggested retail.)

    * 1 TB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes.

    Jesse McCartney - It's Over

We've run out of words we've run out of time
We've run out of reasons, really why we together?
We both know it's over baby bottom line
It's best we don't even talk at all
Don't call me even if I should cross your mind
Hard enough, I don't need to hear your voice on my messages
Let's just call it quits it's probably better so if I'm not returning your calls it's cause

    PreChorus
Cause I'm not coming back I'm closing the door
I used to be trippin' over missin' you but I'm not any more
I got the picture phone baby, your picture's gone
Couldn't stand to see your smile every time you dialed

    Chorus 1
Cause it's over girl you know it's over this time
So when you call I'm pressin 7 don't wanna hear your messages messages
I'm tryna erase you from my mind
Cause it's over I swear girl it's over this time
So don't keep callin' leavin messages don't wanna know where you been
    Baby cause it's over
I still wake up every morning quarter to ten
Still eat my cereal right at the kitchen table
I can't even remember how long it's been
When your troubles stayed & occupied
Oh, ask about you whenever I come around
I do what I can not to put my business in the streets
Last thing I need is another episode keep conversations short and sweet because

Cause it's over I swear girl it's over this time
So don't keep callin' leavin messages don't wanna know where you been
    Baby cause it's over
You know that it's over when the burnin' & the yearnin inside your heart ain't there anymore
And you know that you're through when she don't do to you & move you like the way she moved you before
And you wanna pull her close, but your heart has froze you kiss her but her eyes don't close
Then she goes I love your heart forever and it hurts you but you know that it's better

    Chorus 2
    Girl you know it's over
Girl you know it's over this time
So when you call I'm pressin 7 don't wanna hear your messages messages
I'm tryna erase you from my mind
Cause it's over I swear girl it's over this time
So don't keep callin' leavin messages don't wanna know where you been
    Baby cause it's over
Cause it's over girl you know it's over this time
So when you call I'm pressin 7 don't wanna hear your messages messages
I'm tryna erase you from my mind
Cause it's over I swear girl it's over this time
So don't be callin' leavin messages don't wanna know where you been

MSI Announces a Hybrid SSD/HDD Nettbook

MSI has just announced the MSI U115 Hybrid, which it claims is "very first notebook computer in the world that is capable of operating both SSD and HDD hard drives simultaneously." We're highly suspect of that claim, as we know of at least one notebook right off the bat that is currently selling with the option to use both SSD and standard hard drives simultaneously: the Dell XPS M1730 we did a Video Spotlight of back in July. MSI's U115 Hybrid is more of a netbook than a notebook, however, and as such it might be the first netbook to have both a standard hard drive and an SSD (although, we're sure one of our well-informed readers will correct us of this impression).

The MSI U115 Hybrid uses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, has 1GB of 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM (upgradable to 2GB), and has a 10-inch 1,024x600 display that uses an LED-powered backlight. Based on the specs listed in the MSI press release, it looks like there will be two versions of the netbook: One will come with an 8GB SSD and a 120GB standard hard drive; while the other version will come with a 16GB SSD and a 160GB standard hard drive. The SSD is meant to be the primary drive, housing the Windows XP operating system and applications. The standard hard drive is meant to be used for "file storage." The unit includes an "ECO on Mode," which shuts power down to the standard hard drive in order to save power. The press release states that the battery life of the MSI U115 Hybrid is "super long" no less than four times; although it never actually states what that means exactly (the battery has only three cells--although there is a six-cell battery option).

The MSI U115 Hybrid weighs 2.2 pounds and is 10.24-inches wide by 7.09-inches deep; at its thinnest point it is 0.75 thick, and 1.24-inches at its thickest section. It includes a 2-megapixel Webcam, a 4-in-1 media-card reader, and integrated 802.11b/g/n wireless networking (a Bluetooth module is optional). Ports include VGA, three USB 2.0, Ethernet, Mic-in, and headphones.

There is no word yet on availability or pricing, but the inclusion of an 8GB or 16GB SSD will be sure to bring the netbook's price up another $100 to $200. Unless the MSI U115 Hybrid delivers truly "super long" battery life, we're uncertain that the inclusion of both an SSD and traditional hard drive are going to be enough to attract users who are looking for a netbook, especially when the MSI U115 Hybrid will probably be more expensive than the competition.
